It's 1905 in the little village of Anatevka in the pre-revolutionary Russia of the Tzars. Tevye, a poor milkman with five daughters and a long-suffering wife, Golde, clings to the traditions of his Jewish faith while outside influences threaten to turn his tidy world upside down.
One of the longest running musicals in Broadway history, with songs like Tradition, Sunrise Sunset, To Life and If I were a Rich Man, this deeply moving and entertaining musical will take you through the struggles, the laughter and yes, some tears, as cultures clash, new ways are introduced and family loyalties persevere. You will come to love these indomitable characters as we take you through their lives, their strength and their journey into more modern times.
We have brought together an amazing cast of high school and adult performers under the exceptional direction of Peg Major, with wonderful assistant directors, Rebekah Hope and Caitlyn Tendick, with Meg Graf providing the musical direction.
