Show Summary:

If you are already familiar with the Addams Family TV series or films, you have an idea how much fun you are in for with this hilarious family production. The theatrical version of the Addams Family has been a huge hit at community theaters across the country and we are excited to bring this show to PHCT. Aside from the zany antics, this is a really positive show that will be loved by audience members of all ages.

(From TRW website...) THE Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family–a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before–keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

About Emily Morrow:

Our director, Emily Morrow, has been active in Lane county theatre since moving to Oregon from Idaho in 2013. She normally hides up in the rafters with a spotlight or behind the scenes as stage manager. She has assisted at PHCT in the past, and is looking forward to directing her first production at PHCT! She currently works as a home care worker while attending OSU. When she is not studying, she enjoys playing with her cats, knitting, reading, and getting lost on dusty backroads on a bike.
