Join us for a creative one month online workshop designed to give aspiring actors the chance to learn the craft of acting and take part in a socially distanced performance as part of the workshop.
Three sessions a week will take place online via a Zoom meeting and each session will cover important acting techniques and exercises.
Students will select scenes to perform with other students in the group. We will have a performance at the end of the workshop, either online or in an outdoor venue with safe, social-distancing provisions in place. We will monitor the health situation in the community and the State and only meet in-person, for the final performance, if doing so conforms with current State guidelines. We will err on the side of caution.
Students will need to have several hours a week, outside the workshop, to memorize lines and practice for the performance.
The Workshop is open to students, age 11-18.
The workshop is led by Caitlyn O'Sullivan. Caitlyn has a wealth of experience as a performer and director of local theatrical productions.
Cost: There is an $85 cost for the workshop. Student scholarships are available, based on need.
